Nothing stopped us from driving 10 hours a day. Except our second flat tire (7cm nail), which we luckily discovered at a highway rest area and our spare tire then delaminating after 10 miles. From this point on, we agreed to call our trip an adventure.
And, psst, it was Kevin's first time changing a car tire. It made him feel like a real man!
After two days of flatlands and crossing the Mississippi we were looking forward to seeing some mountains and whitewater again!
