But, eventually the landscape got a bit more rugged again. From Cody we entered the mountains towards Yellowstone. We stopped off at Buffalo Dam quickly; a decidedly windy place...
But soon the landscape became greener and we started to feel as though we were entering the Rockies.
Finally! Yellowstone.
We were ready for some walking around after having sat in the car for the past day. Everyone we had met along the way told us to look at the park, and so we heeded their advice and did.
We found ourselves taking a lot of side roads promising to show spectacular views of falls - something told us we were in need of some kayaking...
What Yellowstone is famous for; a lot of hissing ground - although, it is spectacular!
